LEAGUE FAQ'S

 

Where do you guys play?

We will play the majority of our games in Seatac this year. We are looking to add another South end location (south of FW, north of Lacey) this year to the mix, along with another North end location(north of Seattle, south of Everett) that will cover a couple of the 12 game season's games. 

When are the games?

We play a 12 game season on Sunday evenings from the beginning of June through the end of August. Most weeks there will be just one game on the schedule. 2-3 of the weeks you may have a double header with a few "bye" weekends scattered in between. We do not play the weekend before & after 4th of July.

Fastpitch... Like we played in high school and college?!

YES!!! We play based off of the same handbook that you would see in a local high school game, just a little less intense.

Are there tryouts?

Nope! You pay, you play, regardless of your skill level. Everyone is placed on a team based off of the positions that they like to play in the field and which teams need those positions filled. We also mix around the skill levels of each player on each team so each team is as evenly matched as possible. 

I haven't played in over 20 years. Do you think I'll be able to keep up?

Absolutely!! This group is full of a wide range of ages and skill levels. Everyone plays at their own pace and everyone gets the same amount of playing time regardless of their skill level. Feeling old and slow? So am I! Nursing a hamstring injury? We will get you a base runner! Can't pitch a full game anymore? We have plenty of pitchers to share time with! We can accommodate ANYONE who wants to get back in the game. 

Who is allowed to play?

This is a women's league open to anyone 18 and older. (17 with a parent signature)

I can only make a few of the games.. Do you still want me?

Yes! We understand that people have busy lives. We offer a full 12 game season but also offer a half season option that would cover you for half of the games (6) of your choice with a discounted price. 

How much will this season cost?

Last year, our 12 game full season fee was $185. We do offer a partial season fee for players that can only make up to 6 of the games for $115. Please email Jayme for the coupon code if you are planning to sign up as a partial season player. Please note you will not be able to play more than 6 games if this option is selected.

Can I start my own team?

Please do! If you think you can rally enough players or even half of the amount of players to field a full team we can gladly help you with the missing pieces of your team. You will also have the opportunity to play on the same team as any of your friends or family, just request that you all be placed on the same team at the time of signup.
